DnB Mastercard

Is there a way to sync my DnB Credit Card transactions automatically. I got the regular integration to work - but without the credit card I still have a manual process to maintain everything.

American Express in Norway

The ‘Supported Banks’ page says the American Express is supported in Norway. When I login and add a ‘Source’, American Express is not in the list. I tried using the American Express source from the UK but that didn’t work.

Integrate major credit cards providers in the Netherlands (AMEX, ICS)

The data aggregators for American Express (NL) and ABN AMRO ICS credit cards are either not supporting these 2, or the connection is so unreliable that it is impossible to connect through them. Any budget app where we can’t add major credit cards providers is doomed to fail and drive poor user retention. So please consider finding providers to integrate these 2 in the Netherlands. Thank you!

Add support for Edenred

Hey! It’d be great if the app supported automatic imports from Edenred. It’s the app I receive meal tickets from at work. It’s essentially a special type of debit card. Edenred is used in 45 countries, according to their website, so its addition might help a lot of people. Thanks for the great product!

Repeat payments from the same payer aren't syncing — what's the setting?

Barclays Business (UK) via GoCardless. When a customer pays the same amount more than once within a few days, only some of those payments come through. Checked against the bank's own statements: about 2.4% of transactions are missing, and they're all repeats of this kind. I've already tried: - Deleting the connection and re-authorising from scratch — identical result. - Setting fields_for_duplicate_filtering to external_identifiers.integrator_transaction_id only, before the backfill ran — no change. - Ruled out pending/booked: every row on this account is booked. What's the correct configuration to stop genuine repeat payments being treated as duplicates?

Add Switzerland Open Banking support

Please consider supporting actual budget in the future. I replaced YNAB for me. I know that AB supports the free GoCardless in the EU, but I would prefer synci due to the better features.

Option to clear transactions without updating them

Hello, since transactions are being updated when cleared, it would be great to have an option NOT to update them, just mark them as Cleared. If “Sync pending transactions” option is enabled and I change the flag and memo for a transaction, as soon as bank clears it, transaction is being updated again. Flag is changed and my memo overwritten by information from bank’s statement. This is not really convenient as I would like to update these as soon as they are synced from my bank account. “Match with already existing transactions” option does not work in this case as these transactions haven’t been created manually but synced from the bank account.

Manual payee matching rules

I have a carefully curated list of payees. Setting the payee automatically from Synci doesn't match my rules and creates a lot of "wrong" payees which means I have to manually update them afterwards, so I have that functionality switched off. Having manual matching rules would make the functionality super useful again and save me a lot of time. I'll leave the implementation to you, but my idea would be to allow a list of mappings like so: Source regex (matches on memo field, and/or maybe sender/recipient?) → target payee (plain text, or select from YNAB payee list to be fancy) The payee rules should be the same for all source accounts since payees are shared across accounts in YNAB.

Option to Rename Sources

The name of the source currently seems to be whatever a bank is submitting. However if you have more than one bank account, like me, you want to rename the source names to something more meaninful.

YNAB Category Selector

When creating a transfer link rule to set a specific YNAB category, I had to do an API call in Terminal to figure out the correct category_id. It would be useful to be able to select the category within Synci by simply searching for the category title.

Save settings for a source

If sources expire/become invalid, ensure that the settings for that source are saved until the source has been reactivated or added again.
